Every year on 12 May (the anniversary of Florence Nightingale’s birth) the world pauses to celebrate International Nurses’ Day. At MTS, this isn’t just another date in the diary. On Friday 24 April, MTS was honoured with an invitation to step inside protected British premises in Brazil, for a coffee and a strategic catch-up with Maria Sales, the Head of Education (Brazil) who works for the UK’s Department for Business and Trade (DBT), based at the British Consulate building in central Sao Paulo.

MTS is proud to announce that we have started offering CELPIP (Canadian English Language Proficiency Index Program) exams aimed at a significant volume of people emigrating from the UK to Canada. The CELPIP Tests are officially accepted by several governments (including the Canadian government for emigration purposes) as well as professional organisations, colleges, universities, and employers in Canada. The Canadian government is welcoming emigrants to the country in large numbers to fill key employment gaps created from a growing economy and a retiring workforce, and has committed to see 500,000 new people emigrating and settling in Canada every year until the year 2026.

Our main test venue and head office in West London has, today, been officially recognised as a Pearson VUE On Demand Test Center, marking a pivotal step forward in our commitment to educational excellence and professional advancement. Being an exams provider running secure in-test-centre exams at large scales, MTS is pleased to announce that we are getting very close to achieving our 2023 target of IELTS tests delivered across our network of test venues across the UK and Ireland for the whole year, a record number which is testament to our excellent customer care, compliant delivery and excellent experience of the IELTS testing world. 

MTS is delighted to welcome its exam partner the British Council into its exam venues for the delivery of ACCA (The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) exams, for the one-week sitting of the September 2023 sessional window of ACCA exams, running from 4 – 8 September.

MTS is delighted to announce that it has opened a brand new exams centre in Belfast, Northern Ireland. Equipped with 32 high-spec computer workstations, and ideally set up for both computer-based and paper-based exams, MTS’s new venue is the best and newest place for taking exams in Belfast.

MTS was proud to have successfully delivered examination services to enable the latest round of General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) exams to over 250 candidates across 6 UK cites on 3 November 2022. MTS worked with its exam partners to mobilise its highly skilled invigilation workforce to run the exam at MTS's venues in Birmingham, Brighton, Coventry, Glasgow, London and Nottingham.

MTS has successfully delivered the high-stakes ICBSE (Intercollegiate Committee for Basic Surgical Exams) tests to hundreds of trainee surgeons, at the most recent set of exams which took place on 13 September 2022. MTS worked successfully with Pearson VUE and others to offer the exam sessions at MTS's venues and partner venues in 6 cities across the UK: London, Birmingham, Liverpool, Coventry and Belfast. MTS also supplied the invigilation workforce, drawing these from its pool of over 350 trained invigilators nationally. 

The United Kingdom is in a period of national mourning following the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, on 8 September 2022. 

MTS is delighted to be working with Cambridge Assessment Admissions Testing to deliver the all-important STEP (Sixth Term Examination Paper) Mathematics test.

MTS is thrilled to announce that British Council registrations have now opened for the first IELTS on Computer test date on Saturday 19 March 2022 at MTS’s local exam partner Eloquia, a successful language school located in the heart of Frankfurt, Germany. 

MTS is pleased to announce that we are working with global exam partner PSI Online to offer the computer-delivered Life in the UK test in four UK cities; Edinburgh, Cardiff, Brighton and Milton Keynes.

MTS was pleased to have recently provided a bulk booking IELTS service 'fit for a queen', providing covid-secure IELTS tests for 26 students in May 2021, all taking place on-site at Queens College Taunton, a beautiful and historic independent co-educational day and boarding school in Somerset, UK.

MTS is delighted to have won a competitive tender with a major global examinations partner to provide examination venues equipped with high-specification computer terminals for the delivery of secure and high-stakes computer-based testing for ACCA accountancy exams in 15 venues across 14 cities in the UK and Ireland, for exam dates in June, September and December 2021.
